I live nearby on Edgedale Road. A cat fitting Buzz's description appears to be living in my garden. It has been here for at least a year, during which time I have been inadvertantly feeding it. He sleeps in one of my feral cat shelters. It is only in the last two weeks that I noticed a white stripe/white patch on its stomach which is not visible normally. The cat has a few white white hairs in its ears and a few tiny, hardly noticeable white hairs on its right flank. I happened to see this lost cat report and wondered if this is Buzz? It is a very sweet cat but, very skittish/nervous and I cannot get close to catch it, or check/scan for a microchip. I have checked with my neighbours and no-one recognises or claims this cat.
