Morning. I have had this parakeet in my garden. It wasn’t till yesterday I realised it wasn’t a common parakeet. He was friendly and very noisy eating at my bird feeder. I last saw him last weekend when gardening but I haven’t been looking so not sure if has come back. I live in Woodcote valley road

I took photos as was he was so friendly I felt he would have gone on my hand but don’t know how to send them to you?

Oats has been found and is now back home, many thanks to everyone who helped and looked out for him

He found someone who had an aviary with budgies and parakeets. Kept trying to get into it. They managed to trap him in a caged section above it. They then looked for him on a Nork nextdoor community group. Someone on nextdoor saw her post and shared it with me. I then contacted her and picked him up. I wasn't 100% sure it was him but once he got home his old personality came back. I had a potential sighting of him on Woodcote valley road. It looks like where he was found was exactly in a straight line from my home and where was sighted He had travelled 5.3miles / 8.5km over the 2 months & 14 days he was lost
