Circumstances:	Hector is a rescue and only had him 4 weeks. He has been kept indoors but escaped through a kitchen window and jumped over the side gate and disappeared by the time I went outside.

Hi, I really hope this isn’t your cat, but I thought I should let you know. I saw what looked like a fairly large grey/brown cat that had sadly been hit on the A27 eastbound this morning, between the Devil’s Dyke junction and the A23/Patcham junction. I only saw it briefly as I was driving past, so I really can’t be sure. I’ve reported it to National Highways so they can hopefully recover it and check for a microchip. Really hoping it isn’t Hector. ??

Hi Tiggy&Sushi for reaching out. From the description Hector I’m really hoping not. Hector is only 2 and has dark and light rosette and not very big. Appreciate all your concern. Let’s keep our fingers crossed ??.

Hi Tiggy&Sushi when I called the national highway they found your case and closed it straight away. I was advised not to go to the location. They told me they have patrol there. I’ve reopened the case. The heart breaking thing is I adopted a dad and son, and his little boy is waiting for him. If you have a reference can you share it with me please. I’m driving up there later today
