Circumstances:	My cat has been missing since 22/09/2026, last seen at 14:30. Since reporting him missing, I have received notifications showing that his microchip has been scanned/checked on the Pet Database on three consecutive days from 22/09/2026 at 19:00. Despite these repeated microchip checks, my cat has not been reported as found and I have not been contacted by anyone claiming to have found him. I find this particularly concerning because the person or organisation carrying out the scans would have access to his identification details and should be able to see that he has been reported missing.
